We have teamed up with local Halifax artist Bee to create an ode to one of our favourite Highland cows 'Rosie Red'.
Rosie was our Matriarch cow here on Robertson's Farm.
The head of our Highland Fold and a wonderful mother and protector.
Rosie was diagnosed with congenital heart failure while pregnant with her second calf on our farm.
She gifted us with a wonderful heifer (Aila) and passed shortly after.
We miss her presence always.
Rosie will be remembered through this beautiful piece of art from Bee, surrounded with Nova Scotian flora and the magical tongue up the nose trick.
