Nimbu Ka Achaar is a tangy, fermented spicy lemon/lime pickle. In some Indian households lime/lemon pickles are fermented for years. Like a fine wine, these pickles get better with age and harness more probiotics and gastro healing properties as they go.
Our pickles are aged for 24 months in a cool dark place.
This pickle is loaded with a sour taste, but at the same time, due to the use of red chili powder, mustard, fenugreek and salt the taste of spiciness and bitterness comes out too.
It is everything in one.
Use as a probiotic on your dinner plate, or add to a rich, salty cheese board.
